Thomas P. Orr Scholarship

Graduating seniors from Freeland High School in Michigan who plan undergraduate study or career and technical education at an accredited institution may apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation. Applicants need a minimum 2.5 GPA.

The Thomas P. Orr Memorial Scholarship honors former Freeland superintendent Thomas P. Orr with awards of varying amounts. Selection weighs extracurricular activities, essay, leadership, community service, and work experience, with financial need used only as a tiebreaker.

Apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation general scholarship application due the second Friday in February.
