About this scholarship
Ohio residents ages 18 to 25 who have been diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and are already enrolled in a bachelor's degree program may apply. Current high school students are ineligible. Preference goes to residents of Mahoning, Trumbull, or Columbiana counties.
The Thomas J. Seefred Trust awards scholarships of up to $3,000 based on academic promise, personal statement, recommendation, and financial need.
Mail a notarized application postmarked by June 1 with a college transcript, physician statement, non-relative recommendation, 500-word essay on how diabetes has affected you, and income tax documentation.
