About this scholarship
Undergraduate students enrolled at a U.S. or Canadian university who have completed sophomore year, or graduate students, may apply if they have a confirmed acceptance letter from a professor at a Swiss university for a two- to three-month research stay in their group. The program is open to students from all fields.
ThinkSwiss provides a living-expense stipend of CHF 60 per day, up to roughly $5,400 total, to offset costs during the research stay. The grant covers living expenses only, not travel or research costs.
Submit a project outline, motivation letter, CV, transcripts, and a recommendation. Apply through the Science Office at the Embassy of Switzerland.
