TheDream.US Opportunity Scholarship

Undocumented students with DACA or TPS status who came to the U.S. before age 16 and live in locked-out states where they face out-of-state tuition or cannot enroll in public universities may apply. Up to 150 recipients receive up to $25,000 per year (up to $100,000 over four years) for tuition, fees, and required on-campus housing and meals at an Opportunity Partner College out of state.

Applicants must demonstrate significant unmet financial need, graduate or plan to graduate from a high school in a targeted locked-out state with at least a 2.5 GPA, and commit to full-time enrollment and on-campus living. The award renews each summer while eligibility is maintained.

TheDream.US created the Opportunity Scholarship for students effectively barred from affordable in-state college access.
