University of Tennessee Ph.D. candidates in history who have completed all degree requirements except the dissertation, are in good standing, and are making sufficient progress toward completion may apply.
The Wilson Fellowship awards $1,000 to support the study of American military history. Preference is given to applicants who focus on some aspect of the Second World War.
