The Urban Scholarship Fund

Texas residents who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, demonstrate financial need (EFC not exceeding 1,000), graduated from a high school in one of 43 designated Texas metro areas, and enroll full-time at an accredited nonprofit two- or four-year college or technical school may apply for the Urban Scholarship Fund.

Annual awards are up to $2,000 for private four-year colleges, with lower amounts for public four-year and community or technical colleges. Funds are disbursed half each semester.
