The Speakeasy Scholarship Program

Graduating high school seniors in the U.S., or 5th/6th form secondary school graduates in the Caribbean, who are interested in broadcast or media-related studies may apply for the SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation Scholarship. Applicants must be nationals of the United States or a Caribbean country, have at least a 2.5 GPA (or C+ standing), and show extracurricular, community, volunteer, school, church, or work involvement.

The award is $1,000 (issued as a check), with a media fellowship opportunity and certificate of recognition. Submit the application form, headshot, proof of identity, a 400-word essay on something unique about yourself, an official transcript, and two recommendation letters.
