The SHINE Music Bursary

Greater Toronto Area youth ages 16 to 24 who face financial barriers to studying or practicing music. Applicants must play an organic instrument or sing; digital production, sampling, and AI-generated music are not eligible.

Awards of up to $2,000; up to five recipients may be selected. Submit a completed Google Form application, performance sample(s), and letter(s) of reference. Applications received by January 15 are considered for that year's awards.

SHINE began as the Jim Fay Music Bursary and is funded through the annual SHINE Concert and donations.
