About this scholarship
High school seniors applying to an accredited U.S. college with a minimum 3.0 GPA who plan to pursue a journalism career may apply through the National Press Club Journalism Institute. One $5,000 award is granted; U.S. citizenship is not required.
Submit an online application with transcripts, recommendations, work samples, and an essay by March 1.
The Richard G. Zimmerman Scholarship is named for a long-time National Press Club member who endowed funds to aid future journalists.
