About this scholarship

High school seniors and current undergraduate or graduate students who lost a parent, caregiver, or sibling to suicide and hold a minimum 3.5 GPA may apply through The Quell Foundation's Irene Pasierb Memorial Fund. Awards of up to $5,000 are granted based on demonstrated need and academic achievement; the number of recipients varies.

Submit a transcript, personal statement, two recommendations, and financial need documentation (tax return, Student Aid Report, or Form 1040). An interview may be requested.

The scholarship raises awareness about mental health while supporting students who have experienced this loss.
