About this scholarship
Master's and Ph.D. students enrolled part-time or full-time at an accredited college or university who study sea turtle behavior, habitat use, management, or conservation may apply. One $3,000 scholarship is awarded annually.
Applicants should major in oceanography, marine affairs, environmental sciences, public policy, community planning, natural resources, or a related field, and demonstrate commitment through research, environmental activities, or relevant work experience.
The Boyd N. Lyon Scholarship honors a respected researcher passionate about sea turtle preservation.
