The Nick Cordero Award

School of Performance students at Toronto Metropolitan University who have completed their second year and most embody the spirit of Nick Cordero are eligible. Candidates lift up classmates, bring positivity, and show talent in music through voice and/or instrument.

The award amount varies. Students may nominate peers through a peer statement or nominate themselves.

Nick Cordero's graduating class established the award in his memory after his death in 2020. He was a Tony-nominated performer known for kindness and musicianship during his time at Toronto Metropolitan.
