The Michael J. Quill Scholarship

College-bound dependents of Transport Workers Union members in good standing (including qualifying pensioners or deceased members) in transit, railroad, air transportation, utilities, public employment, and allied industries may apply. High school seniors who are sons, daughters, or dependent siblings of eligible TWU members are typical applicants.

Fifteen scholarships of $1,200 per year are paid for up to four years while eligibility is maintained ($4,800 total).

Mail the completed application by the postmark deadline. Winners are selected by public drawing; fax and email submissions are not accepted.

The union has awarded Quill Scholarships in honor of TWU founder Michael J. Quill since 1969.
