About this scholarship
Students entering the first year of a full-time master's program at a Canadian university may apply if their research addresses the unique context of military service over the life course and can improve the physical or mental health or well-being of Veterans or related populations and their families. Applicants should show strong research methodology, analytical and writing skills, and potential for high-impact work.
The scholarship provides $15,000 per year for two years. Apply through the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research (CIMVHR) with The Legion National Foundation.
The award supports a lasting research legacy for Veterans and their families by training emerging researchers.
