About this scholarship
Graduate students enrolled in McMaster's Department of Religious Studies whose research requires specialized language training and who demonstrate academic and/or research excellence may apply. Preference goes to students whose research requires study of premodern languages.
The scholarship provides $2,500, awarded by the School of Graduate Studies. Apply through McMaster AwardSpring.
Established in 2024 by the Rev. Dr. Raymond Hodgson and the Rev. C. Joyce Hodgson, with support from their son, the Rev. Raymond A. Hodgson, to acknowledge the impact of the Religious Studies program on their family.
