The George W. Vari Friendship Award for Diversity

Graduate students at Toronto Metropolitan University from traditionally underrepresented groups, including women, Black and racialized students, international students, students with disabilities, and Indigenous students, are eligible.

Two awards of $5,000 each are offered through the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science. The award recognizes the late Honourable George Vari's contributions to education, research, and philanthropy following his immigration from Hungary in 1957.
