For a worthy student who has completed the second year of a program leading to a degree with a major in biology, as recommended by the Head of the Department of Biology.

One scholarship is awarded; the amount varies. Selection is based on second-year performance in a biology major.

No separate application is described; the department head recommends the recipient.
