The Don Punch Memorial Award

Full-time Laurentian University undergraduate students may apply on the basis of academic standing in the previous year, participation in interuniversity athletics, and demonstrated financial need. Preference goes to members of the men's and women's basketball teams. The award may be divided between two students in the same year.

The award is valued at $120. An Application for Athletic Awards is required.

Inaugurated by Joanne Derks and the Frank Bell family, and supported by Don Punch's family and friends, to help varsity athletes. Punch was a former basketball player and coach in Northern Ontario.
