About this scholarship

Students active in progressive movements for liberation and social or economic justice who are enrolled in a degree, trade, or training program and have financial need may apply.

The maximum grant is $15,000 per year; the average 2025-26 grant was $7,700. Funds are disbursed per term and must be used in the award year. Prior recipients reapply annually.

Submit the online application with essays, transcripts, two recommendations, and a SAR/FAFSA worksheet by April 1.
