About this scholarship
U.S. legal residents diagnosed with active epilepsy who have not yet earned a bachelor's degree may apply for tuition assistance and expense support through the Charles L. Shor Epilepsy Opportunity Fund.
Awards up to $10,000 vary by financial need and may be renewable for up to two years total. Funds support accredited two- or four-year colleges, vocational schools, or certification programs.
Submit physician documentation of ongoing treatment, a FAFSA summary, proof of acceptance, a recommendation letter, and materials demonstrating financial need by March 6.
The fund, administered by Epilepsy Wellness Advocates, supports education and personal growth for individuals with epilepsy pursuing careers in growing fields.
