The Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS)

Active CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC master's or doctoral award holders who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons seeking supplemental funding for research travel lasting two to six months. Travel must begin on or after the application deadline during the active award. Applicants must not have held or currently hold a Canada Graduate Scholarships - Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement, and may not hold a CRTAS-RTS more than once.

Non-renewable $9,000 supplement. Up to 250 supplements annually across agencies.
