About this scholarship

For academically qualified incoming Level 1 McMaster undergraduates who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons paying domestic fees, entering their first baccalaureate degree (excluding Mohawk/Conestoga McMaster Nursing), from equity-deserving groups in Ontario's Greater Golden Horseshoe, and who demonstrate financial need.

The award provides up to $20,000 per year toward tuition, compulsory fees, books, equipment, and living costs, plus mentorship and one guaranteed McMaster work experience. It is tenable for up to four years.

Established in 2019 as part of McMaster's Access Strategy to create a pathway into post-secondary education.
