Terry Fox Humanitarian Award

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or landed immigrants graduating from high school (or completing first-year CEGEP), or who have already finished secondary school, may apply for the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award if they are in good academic standing, do unpaid voluntary humanitarian work, and plan to pursue (or are already pursuing) a first Canadian university degree or diploma, or are entering second-year CEGEP. Students of all abilities are welcome.

The maximum value is $28,000 over four years, paid as $7,000 per year in two $3,500 installments to the institution. Renewal depends on satisfactory academics, continued humanitarian work, and personal conduct.
