About this scholarship
Incoming male freshmen admitted to the University of Illinois may apply for one of three Temple Hoyne Buell Memorial Scholarships from Chi Psi Fraternity. Fraternity membership is not required.
Each award is $2,000, paid in a single installment upon proof of full-time enrollment in the fall semester.
Apply by May 31 with an official high school transcript sent to BuellScholarship@gmail.com. Semifinalists interview in June, and winners are selected for intellectual, moral, and social fit with Chi Psi ideals. The scholarship honors Brother Temple Hoyne Buell.
