About this scholarship
Current or former youth in foster care, government care, or under a Youth Agreement, aged 17 to 29 at the application deadline, who are domestic students (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, Protected Person, or convention refugee) are eligible. Applicants must be accepted into or attending their first full-time undergraduate degree or diploma at a college, university, or polytechnic in Canada with at least one year remaining, or be diploma holders on a college-to-university pathway.
Bursaries of up to $5,000 (up to about 20 per cycle) may cover tuition, living costs, textbooks, childcare, equipment, or other study expenses, including for students already receiving provincial tuition waivers or SAJE support. Applications typically open in the spring.
