Tarleton State University Presidential Honors Program Scholarship

Incoming freshmen selected for Tarleton State University's Presidential Honors Program are considered based on high school GPA, standardized test scores, and participation in honors classes. Typical profiles have been around a 1260 SAT, 27 ACT, and top-ten-percent class rank. Scholars must maintain at least a 3.4 cumulative Tarleton GPA and complete at least 15 hours of solid academic courses each semester.

About 20 scholars are admitted each year. The Honors College scholarship amount varies with funding and need, with awards described up to about $10,000. Students admitted by January 15 who complete the General Scholarship Application by February 15 may also be considered for a President's Texan Scholarship.
