Tannenwald Writing Competition

Open to full- or part-time U.S. law students (J.D., LL.M., or S.J.D.) and other students enrolled in a U.S. law school tax course.

Cash prizes of $5,000, $2,500, and $1,500 for the top three papers.

Submit a faculty-sponsored paper on any federal or state tax topic per the competition rules. Named for Tax Court Judge Theodore Tannenwald, Jr., and sponsored by the Theodore Tannenwald, Jr. Foundation for Excellence in Tax Scholarship and the American College of Tax Counsel.
