About this scholarship
Texas public, private, and home-schooled high school students in grades 9 through 12 may enter the Take Care of Texas Video Contest by submitting a 30-second video online by December 5.
Three scholarships are awarded to high school winners: $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second, and $500 for third. Videos must show positive ways Texans can protect air, water, and energy or reduce waste and include the slogan "Take Care of Texas. It's the only one we've got."
The contest helps Texas students share creative environmental messages.
