About this scholarship

U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are direct blood descendants of a Taiwanese citizen and are high school seniors or first-year college students planning full-time enrollment at a U.S. college or university may apply if they hold a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA and household income at or below federal, state, or county low-income thresholds.

Ten renewable scholarships of $7,500 per year are available for up to four years. Submit the online application with three references and a transcript.

The Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund helps economically challenged Taiwanese American youth obtain higher education.
