About this scholarship
Connecticut residents age 17 or older who are LGBTQIA+ students or allies attending accredited two- or four-year colleges, universities, or trade schools may apply. One $1,000 award is granted.
Submit the application and a 1,000 to 1,500 word essay on how your education will impact the LGBTQIA+ community by January 15 at 1:59 p.m. Recipients are invited to the February Sweetheart Invitational banquet.
The Sweetheart College Award supports LGBTQIA+ students and allies through an inclusive Connecticut charity bowling tournament.
