About this scholarship

Graduating seniors who live in Saginaw, Midland, or Bay Counties, Michigan, or within 35 miles of Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic, are involved in the horse community, and plan to pursue higher education (college, trade school, or similar) may apply.

Two awards are selected: one $2,000 winner and one runner-up.

Submit a cover letter about yourself, your education plans, and your horse-community involvement, plus a 250 to 500 word essay on how involvement with horses has influenced your life. Applications are reviewed by a blinded committee on content, grammar, creativity, and organization.
