About this scholarship
Graduating high school seniors or graduates from San Mateo or Santa Clara County, California, with a minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrated financial hardship, and sustained community involvement may apply.
Recipients may receive up to $5,000, with up to 10 awards available. Apply jointly for the Crain and Hazel Reed Baumeister Scholarships through SVCF's ApplySVCF portal with required documents and a personal statement.
The program was established in 1987 in memory of Dr. R. Carter Crain and Mildred E. Crain to support students with limited financial means.
