About this scholarship
U.S. citizens in their first year of a full-time graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university may apply if they are pursuing health policy, health administration, public health, public policy, business, economics, or law. Current first-year students in their second semester of a two-year program, or those in the next-to-final year of a longer program, are eligible.
Winston Scholars receive up to twenty awards of $10,000 each and attend a one-day health policy symposium in Washington, DC. Students from all political perspectives are welcome.
Submit a professional resume, a personal statement on your health policy interests and goals, registrar-issued transcripts, and two nomination letters (one from faculty and one from a preceptor or employer).
The program honors Susan L. Winston's commitment to bipartisan collaboration and public-private partnerships in improving the U.S. healthcare system.
