About this scholarship

Scholars who are citizens or documented descendants of federally recognized tribal nations, or Native Hawaiian individuals, may apply for one month of residential humanities research at the Newberry Library using its collections. Graduate students must be ABD by the application deadline.

The stipend is $3,000 for one month. Applications are due December 8.
