About this scholarship
U.S. citizen high school seniors in Pinellas or Hillsborough County, Florida; Avery County, North Carolina; or designated high schools in Florence or Marion, South Carolina, with at least a 3.0 GPA, demonstrated financial need, and evidence of overcoming significant obstacles may apply.
Up to 10 recipients each receive a renewable award of $6,250 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study at an in-state public university in Florida, South Carolina, or North Carolina.
Submit an essay, transcript, two recommendations, and FAFSA results by March 4. Applications open December 1. Recipients must remain enrolled full time and in good academic standing. The Godbold Foundation sponsors these scholarships.
