Sue's Hope Scholarship

Graduating seniors at North Myrtle Beach High School or North Myrtle Beach Christian Academy with at least a 2.5 GPA may apply. This scholarship targets students facing financial or academic obstacles rather than top-ranked performers.

One recipient receives a $1,000 award through the Waccamaw Community Foundation.

Apply by noon March 2 with a transcript, 500-word essay on hope and future potential, a community service record, an activity list, and a guidance-department recommendation. The fund supports a student who might otherwise be left behind due to finances or other barriers.
