About this scholarship
Open to children, grandchildren (including step and foster), or legal wards of current or retired NUPGE Component union members or Component affiliates who self-identify as a Person of Colour and are entering first year at a Canadian public post-secondary institution on a full-time or part-time basis.
The award is $2,500. Applicants submit an original 750-to-1,000-word essay on the importance of public services in enhancing the quality of life of people of colour.
