Student Illustrator Scholarship

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students studying illustration who are at least 18, currently enrolled or graduated the prior semester, and have not published a picture book may apply. Prior applicants who have not won may reapply.

Two winners receive tuition to the SCBWI Virtual Summer Conference plus entry in the Juried Portfolio Showcase. Award value otherwise varies with conference tuition.

Submit through the AWARDS tab in your SCBWI member profile: a statement of 250 words or less on why you wish to attend, three children's-book-style illustration samples, and a photo of your current student ID.
