About this scholarship
Domestic Toronto Metropolitan University students (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or convention refugee) facing an unforeseen financial crisis that materially affects academic progress may apply for this one-time emergency bursary. Applicants must be registered (undergraduate, certificate, medicine, or law), in clear standing with a CGPA of 1.67 or higher, document the emergency, and show other resources are exhausted. It is not for routine education costs or anticipated hardship.
The amount varies. Apply in fall/winter through AwardSpring. If awarded, proof of spending is required within 30 days. Recipients sign an Award Agreement and follow the Proof of Spending Policy.
