About this scholarship

One-time bursary for domestic students at Toronto Metropolitan University referred to Student Care who face financial difficulties related to housing insecurity, wellbeing, or other complex situations. Applicants must be first-time Student Care Bursary applicants; enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or law program; officially registered with clear academic standing and a CGPA of 1.67 or higher; current OSAP (or equivalent government aid) recipients; able to show depletion of other financial resources; and able to provide documentation of the emergency. The bursary is not awarded to pay off credit card debt or tuition. Graduate students should approach their graduate program first. Completing an AwardSpring application or meeting Student Care does not guarantee funding; some applicants may be asked to meet with Student Care to review their file.
