About this scholarship

Incoming first-year on-campus students at UW-Stout may compete for the Stout Scholars Scholarship, the university's most prestigious merit award. Eligible recent high school graduates need a 3.67 or higher cumulative GPA and an ACT composite of 27 or higher or SAT total of at least 1280, with full admission by the first Monday in February and test scores on file.

Three recipients are selected annually through a competitive virtual interview and receive $5,000 per year, renewable three additional years. Submit the UW-Stout Foundation scholarship application by January 5. Non-selectees receive a $2,000 Stout Promise Scholarship.
