About this scholarship

Former Canadian or American foster-care youth (including kinship care, other alternative living situations, or Children's Aid Society involvement), aged 24 or under at application, who will be enrolled full-time at a recognized college or university in Canada or the USA by the next school semester, are eligible. Applicants must be Canadian or American citizens or permanent residents and agree to verification of care history.

One bursary of $2,000 is awarded. Apply via the Storwell online form by December 31, including study plans, future goals, and a reference who can confirm care history.

Storwell Self Storage, a family-run business in Toronto and the GTA, funds the program to support foster youth in post-secondary education.
