Stewart Family Forestry Award

Third-year undergraduate students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry in good academic standing may be nominated for this award.

Awards are drawn from a $5,050 endowment established by the Stewart Family. Preference goes to students with demonstrated financial need. The per-recipient amount varies by year.

Recipients are selected on faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.

Mr. D. G. (Chick) and Mrs. Marilyn Stewart, along with partner Mr. Victor Rempel, founded S&R Sawmills on the Fraser River at Port Kells, BC, in 1963.
