About this scholarship

First-year Laurentian University Sports Administration (SPAD) students who show dedication to SPAD outside the classroom, passion for grassroots sports, and volunteer service in the sports community may apply at the end of their first year.

The award is $500. Submit an application letter explaining your role in community engagement and social responsibility to the SPAD Director for selection.

This memorial award celebrates Professor Steven G.W. Harrington's contributions to the SPAD program and his emphasis on education beyond grades.
