Steve Harper Memorial Scholarship

Kansas high school seniors or university students who plan to attend a Kansas college and pursue wildlife, nature-based curriculum, or outdoors journalism may apply. Recipients are selected without regard to race, color, religion, or sex.

One $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually, sponsored by the Kansas Wildscape Foundation and Outdoor Communicators of Kansas.

Submit an application, a letter of recommendation, and work samples if applying as a journalism student. The recipient must show proof of full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours) to receive funds.

The award honors Steve Harper and supports Kansas youth with Kansas-based career goals in wildlife and nature fields.
