About this scholarship

First-year Master of Science in Sustainability Management (MScSM) students at UTM, domestic or international, may apply for the Stephen Bede Scharper Fellowship on the basis of financial need and academic merit.

The fellowship is $2,500. It recognizes commitment to global sustainability, social and environmental justice, holistic well-being, and the betterment of humanity. Registered students receive application details in February, and the recipient is announced in April.

The fellowship was endowed by Tracy Dalglish and Michael Medline in honor of Professor Stephen Bede Scharper's mentorship in the MScSM program.
