Stanley M Grant Scholarship in Mathematics

For undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Department of Mathematics at UBC Vancouver who have completed their first year.

Scholarships totalling $88,400 are made available annually through an endowment established by the Estate of Dr. Stanley M. Grant; per-recipient amounts vary.

Made on the recommendation of the Department of Mathematics, and for graduate students in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. No separate application.

Dr. Grant (1924-2015) earned a BA in Arts at UBC in 1949, later obtained an MD with a specialty in Pathology at McGill, and served as District Coroner in Nanaimo, BC.
