About this scholarship

Doctoral students or postdoctoral fellows who currently hold eligible SSHRC doctoral or postdoctoral funding (including CGS/CGRS and Vanier).

The $50,000 SSHRC Impact Talent Award may be taken as a one-year fellowship or as a research or knowledge-mobilization grant. At least 10% must promote the recipient's research achievements.

SFU forwards one institutional nomination. Nominees submit a package (CV and one-page research summary) to their Graduate Program Assistant by the campus deadline.
