About this scholarship

Doctoral students who have completed coursework and comprehensive exams and have defended (or will defend) the dissertation prospectus before the academic year begins, enrolled at a participating institution in a participating SREB state, may apply for the SREB-State Doctoral Scholars Program Dissertation Award.

The one-year package includes a $20,000 stipend, tuition and fees coverage, a $500 research allowance, and conference support.
