Southern Scholarship Foundation Rent-Free Housing Scholarship

Students with financial need, strong academics, and good character who are accepted to Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee State College, or the University of Florida may apply.

The Southern Scholarship Foundation provides rent-free cooperative housing rather than cash awards. Residents share household duties in SSF scholarship houses located near partner campuses in Florida.

Apply for spring consideration by November 1 or fall consideration by April 1. For more than 65 years, SSF has helped students attend their chosen university when financial resources are limited.
